Come indulge in the music where passion and heartache unabashedly reside, created solely by the collection of voices. Their sound described as being “like silky smooth butter in musical form” by a recent audience member, Voices of Concinnity will explore through this program “whether love, like music, can transcend time, the written page, and even the actual physical production of sound.”

Led by founding director Sarah Kaufold, Voices of Concinnity is a 12-voice chamber ensemble of dedicated, seasoned choral artists from diverse backgrounds. Concinnity will experiment with the alignment of vocal timbres while exploring the stories of this collection of a cappella music possessing rich harmonies, compelling texts, and the capacity to affect one's soul. Featuring selections by Lauridsen, Monteverdi, Holst, Whitacre, Schutz and more.

In addition to singing beautiful choral selections from their program, Has Love No Voice?, Voices of Concinnity will explore the stories behind this music and how the singing of the text could affect us more profoundly than spoken word for our performance at The Packing House. This presentation could be a great introduction to understanding how to enjoy this choral art.
