SPECIAL NOTE: We are pleased to collaborate with colleague and EC-CHAP Volunteer Arthur Rovozzo to develop this multi-part film series featuring contemporary rock, blues and the “British Invasion”. Arthur Rovozzo is DJ for the weekly radio program “Musical Myriad” on WECS, 90.1fm.

This film project is the brainchild of “Musical Myriad” host Arthur Rovozzo, WECS Radio, 90.1FM.
Arthur’s extensive musical knowledge and passion for historical roots has led to the development of this unique 5-part series.
As Arthur describes:
“When we distributed a questionnaire on which possible themes could be taken up for music movie nights, there was a very strong interest in us having a show on the 1960’s early British Invasion bands - the groups that followed the Beatles in conquering the United States. Therefore, on April 12th we're going to present the collection of vintage TV show clips where major British invasion bands took over the non-radio airwaves forcefully. Among the artists featured prominently that we're planning on with several songs apiece , you can expect to see and hear vintage performances by the Kinks, the original lineup of the Rolling Stones, the Who, and the DC five - the Dave Clark Five. Some of the shows offered to us by collectors for this event, originated not in the US, but in Europe, and in England."
We have compiled and will screen a selection of unique and relevant historic music related films from February thru May. This series is intended to share the journey and evolution of contemporary rock and blues from the sixties forward.
