Jazz vocalist and songwriter JACQUI NAYLOR returns to The Packing House following the pandemic hiatus. The singer is also the subject of a full-length documentary film, Lucky Girl. With a wide vocal range, she has made the mixing and "smashing" of genres and eras her stock-in-trade, gaining fans and notoriety throughout the world by singing the lyrics and melody of jazz standards over the grooves of well-known rock songs and viceversa. "Naylor has the chops and sensitivity to pull it oft;' writes New York Magazine.

Naylor and Khu tour regularly, headlining at the world’s finest jazz venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott’s London, Sunset-Sunside Paris, Birdland New York, Birdland Hamburg, Quasimodo Berlin, SFJAZZ Center, Monterey Jazz Festival, and Blue Note New York, Milan, and Tokyo.

Treasures of the Heart

Vocalist and composer Jacqui Naylor celebrates the release of her twelfth album, Treasures of the Heart, featuring her deeply rich, soulful voice on a signature mix of standards, covers, and original music. Known for her ability to interpret a diverse repertoire, the vocalist attributes her unique sound to tight and spontaneous interplay with long-time pianist, arranger, and co-composer Art Khu. What Naylor and Khu create on stage together is both sensitive and explosive!

Their concert features music from Treasures of the Heart and favorites from Naylor’s illustrious career.  Her albums have made exclusive "top-ten" lists in USA Today, Jazziz, The Washington Post and more, and her original music featured in ad campaigns, television shows, and films, including a documentary made about her.
