This is a rare opportunity to hear these three incredible musicians on one stage. You may remember Sally Rogers, Howie Bursen, and Claudia Schmidt separately and together, from NPR'S "A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION", or from concerts performed across the nation over the last 40+ years.
Put the three together and their brilliant, spine-tingling harmonies are recalled long after they've left the stage. They are a trio not to be missed on the rare occasion that they perform together.
Claudia and Sally have four joint recordings, and their many solo albums have been praised and played by loyal listeners, radio DJ's and concert venues.
Howie Bursen is known for his warm baritone voice and he is recognized as one of the finest clawhammer banjo players in the nation. He has joined his wife, Sally Rogers, on two duo recordings as well as on several of her solo albums. He has four solo albums of his own, two of which are on Smithsonian/Folkways. Sally and Howie frequently perform as a duo as well.
